If you are a tram enthusiast you should visit the Loire Valley City of Tours. The trams here were specially designed to be the very incarnation of the City itself. Their outer shell is polished metal and mirrored glass, so that as they snake through the streets they reflect the Loire River running alongside. Inside they are painted red, a reference to the City's heritage of silk weaving and the most famous product that came off the looms in Tours, a crimson cloth known as Gros de Tours.
And of course, while you are here you can book a chateaux tour with us as well as ride on these stylish trams. We can tell you about all the other clever design techniques used on the trams as well as introduce you to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Medieval and Renaissance Loire Valley Chateaux.
